Visit GES:

Arrange to visit at least 48 hours in advance with a teacher.
Enter the building through the main office.
Sign in at the office with a secretary or principal.
Secretary or principal will verify scheduled appointment.
Your State ID will be collected and you will be given a visitor badge that must be worn at all times.
Report to the designated location.
Report back to the office to sign out and return visitor’s badge to receive your photo-ID.

Visitors with students at GES:

Enter through the main office doors.
Sign in at the office with a secretary or principal.
Secretary or Principal will verify the scheduled appointment.
Your State ID will be collected and you will be given a visitor badge that must be worn at all times.
Report to the designated location.
Report back to the office to sign out and return visitor’s badge to receive your photo-ID.

Breakfast or Lunch Visits:

Enter through the main office doors.
Sign in at the office with a secretary or principal.
Your State ID will be collected and you will be given a visitor badge that must be worn at all times.
You and your child can have lunch in one of the office conference rooms.
Report back to the office to sign out and return visitor’s badge to receive your photo-ID.

These procedures are implemented pursuant to the Administrative Guidelines 9150 which is available for review on the district’s website. The district reserves the right to deny an individual entry to any school building when there is a reason to believe that such individual’s presence would be detrimental to the operation of the school and the learning environment.
