ATTENTION SENIORS! ALL school fees MUST be paid in FULL before May 12 in order to participate in the graduation ceremony and to receive your diploma. This includes Pay to Participate fees and ALL lunch charges. You can no longer pay with a check. You can pay with cash at the Main Office or with credit/debit card at the Board Office. The Graham Athletic Department is partnering with our friends at Mary Rutan Sports Medicine to offer FREE sports physicals. Please take advantage of this tremendous opportunity and be ready for the next sports season NOW. The FREE sports physicals will be held here at Graham High School on may 12th from 8-11. Seniors you need to turn in your permission slips for Senior Fest & Powder Puff. There are extra permission slips outside Mrs. Bush’s door. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Bush or Mrs. Jarzab.
ATTENTION all NHS Members, there will be a meeting after school on Wednesday, May 7th in Mrs. Jackson’s room (B152). During this meeting, individuals who would like to hold a Chapter Officer Position next year will introduce themselves. Voting will start Thursday, May 8th and end on Monday, May 12th. Attendance is important to support the officer candidates and to make an informed selection, Please check Google Classroom for more information.

SENIORS! You will be getting an invitation to the Baccalaureate Dinner. Following the dinner is Honor’s Night. If you have received a scholarship and/or receiving any sort of award or Honors Diploma, you will then receive an invitation to Honors Night. Honors Night is separate from the Baccalaureate Dinner. Honors Night invitations will start coming out this week. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Bechtel or Mrs. Dillon.
Remember that Wednesday, May 7 at 9:00 am is Signing Day. We ask all Seniors to attend! PARENTS ARE WELCOME to attend Signing Day. Signing Day will be held in the Main Gym.
Any student interested in being a member of Student Council and running for an officer position should pick up an application from Mrs. Huff in Room C155. There are officer positions available for all grade levels. Applications are due by Tuesday, May 13th. Voting will take place on Tuesday, May 20th. Ballots will be emailed to all students so they can vote for their grade-level representatives. Don’t miss this opportunity to take on a leadership role and make a difference in our school community.
Sports Announcements
The girls softball team beat Urbana 10-8. Abigail Chamberlain and Harlee Van Hoose had 2 RBIs each. It was a great team effort for the win. Monday is Senior Night for our Lady Falcons.
In boys baseball action they took losses against Kenton Ridge and Urbana. Then they won against Indian Lake both times. In the first game, they won 7-1. Dylan Lafollette and Breyton Reisinger each had 2 hits and 2 RBIs. In the second game, Hayden VanHoose had 12 strikeouts and Breyton Reisinger was 2 for 3. GHS is currently holding a 1-game lead in the CBC - Mad River Division with Shawnee on the Schedule this week. Senior Night is Monday.
In girls track action, placing first for Graham was the 4x400 Relay Team, Grace Yukon in the 200, and Taylor Aldredge in the high jump.
Placing first for the boys was Zach Estep in the High Jump and Jesse Jenkins in the long Jump. Tuesday is the Senior Night for our Track Athletes.
