  1.  The PBIS store will be open starting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 23.  Store hours will be Tuesdays & Thursdays before school and Tuesday during lunches.

  1. PICTURE DAY is next week on Friday, October 3.  ALL STUDENTS need to have your picture taken, whether you are ordering or not, so your picture will appear in the Yearbook.  SENIORS:  you need to have your picture taken so it will appear on the class composite, which is the class group picture that hangs in the hallway.  ATTENTION STUDENTS that are not here 1st thing in the morning: You will need to make arrangements to stop by the high school to have your picture taken.  The photographer will be set-up and ready by 7:00 AM.  DON’T FORGET to dress nice and appropriately for your picture.  JVS STUDENTS:  make sure you get your picture taken BEFORE you get on the bus. If you drive to JVS, make sure you stop by the High School to get your picture taken.  ORDER FORMS will be passed out next week. 

  1.  TODAY is the last day to get your POWDER PUFF permission slips turned in to Mrs. Bush.  You can place them in her mailbox by her room door. 

  1.  A representative from Wittenberg University will be here tomorrow, Tuesday, September 23 at 8:00 am.  If you are interested in speaking with this representative, sign up in the guidance office or email Mrs. Dillon.

  1.  A representative from the  US Navy will be here on Wednesday during lunches.

  1.  CONGRATULATIONS to our Rural Soil Team: Wes Bailey, Hayden Yoder, Jay Miller, Payton Maurice and Alba Putterbaugh. Congratulations to our Urban Soils Team: Hayden Nitchman, JJ Henry, Haden Lehman, Nathan Crisler, Destynie Brown & Maya Ingles.  They will be competing on Tuesday at Kenton, Ohio.

  1.  CONGRATULATIONS to our TOP 10 2025 HOMECOMING COURT.   BOYS: Cole Blevins, Jack Bonham, Zack Estep, Brody Fritts, Jake Landis, Hayden Nitchman, Caleb Shaw, Izaiah Smith, Colten Taylor, & Jack Traylor.  GIRLS:  Makayla Black, Sophia DiMichele, Molly Hall, Claire Hannahs, Megan Lute, Payton Maurice, Faith Medley, Elena Portis, Maci Runkle & Shannon Stahler.  UNDERCLASSMEN will be voting for their representative on Tuesday during English Class.  SENIORS will be voting for the top 5 on Tuesday in Mr. Randall’s class.  If you do not have an English Class or Mr. Randall, the link will be in your student email.  PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO VOTE.


  2.  The 2025 HOMECOMING DANCE will be on Friday October 4 in the main gym at GHS.  The dance will be from 7:30 - 10:30.  Tickets will be sold from September 29 - October 2.  NO TICKET SALES on Friday, October 3 or at the door.  Tickets will be sold during lunch periods unless you have made arrangements with Mrs. Bechtel.  Tickets are $15.00 each and you must have your PINK DANCE FORM signed by a parent or guardian to purchase your ticket.  If you are bringing a date from another school, they are to have ALL of the information filled out on the back of the Pink Form.  You can find a copy of the PINK form in your google classroom or in the guidance office.  Any questions, see Mrs. Bechtel.


SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1.  The Boys JV Soccer Team won against Urbana on Saturday with a score of 3 - 0.  The goals were scored by Clayton Maxson and Bryce Hanes.  Come support the Varsity Boys tonight and Wednesday at home.

  1. The Girls Soccer Team won both of their games last week defeating Tecumseh 1-0 and Indian Lake 5-0.  Riley McAlexander had 2 goals and 3 assists, Maleah Erter had 2 goals, Lilah Turner and Julia Wagner both had 1 goal and 1 assist and Rachel Birchfield had 1 assist.  The Lady Falcons take on Northwestern tonight at 7:15 and London on Wednesday at 5:30.  During tonight’s game against Northwestern, there will be FREE PIZZA for the STUDENT SECTION at halftime of the girls game while it lasts!
