Yearbook is holding a Valentine’s Day sale through February 28th. Please see the flyers around school or Mr. Bliss for more information.
Students, please check your emails and complete the survey called “For a Brighter Future”. Also, just a reminder, there are several sets of recycling bins available here at GHS. The bins are located by the Media Center bathrooms, in the Media Center, in the Cafeteria by the drinking fountains and by the Main Entrance.
FCCLA are collecting bottle caps. Students, please bring in your bottle caps to either the plastic bins or Mrs. Jarzab’s room, C102, by Friday, April 10th for Service Day.
There will be a “Blessed in the Dress” event on February 21st. This event is an opportunity for students to access free dresses, shoes, jewelry, and other items for Prom. See the Flyer in the Main Office for event details.
SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS
Gabe Woomer: 1st place in the 200 Individual Medley & 100 Breaststroke. Sully Uhl: 1st place in the 100 Freestyle & 2nd place in the 50 Freestyle. Ryan Marshall: 2nd place in the 100 Breaststroke. Hattie Uhl: 3rd place in the 100 Backstroke with a new school record. A big Congratulations to Hattie for an outstanding swim season in which she broke and is holding 7 GHS School Records in the 500, 200, 100, 50 Freestyle, 100 Butterfly, 100 Backstroke & 200 Individual Medley.
