GHS Weekly Announcements for week of Oct 12th-Oct 16th

  1.  ATTENTION POWDER PUFF PLAYERS:  Please check in the Makerspace Room today before you leave to see if your shirt is ready.

  1.  There will be an FCCLA Meeting during 5a & 5b lunches on Tuesday.  We will have food during our meetings.  

  1.  ATTENTION SOFTBALL PLAYERS:  There will be an open gym on Sunday from 10 -12 in the auxiliary gym.  

  1.  FCCLA is having a Pop Tap Rally to support the Ronald McDonald House of Southwest Ohio.  Every tab we collect can pay for a “Home Away From Home’ for critically injured or sick children.  This rally will run from October to January.  Bring in your pop tabs and drop them into the collection bins in the cafeteria, Mrs. Jarzab’s room or the main office.  

  1.  FCCLA is also having a sock fundraiser from October to January.  Prices are $5.00 for singles and $15 for a 3 pack.  

  1.  Any student that will be bringing your grandparent to the Senior Citizen Breakfast on October 23, please RSVP with Mrs. Black or Ms. Reisinger in the High School office.  RSVP by October 19.

  1.  Bowling Green State University will be here this Thursday, October 15th at 10:15 am.  Any Junior or Senior interested in speaking with this representative needs to see or email Mrs. Dillon in the guidance office. 

  1.  Any student interested in taking CCP Classes in the spring or next school year, Edison will be here on Wednesday, October 14 to answer any questions.

  1.  The University of Northwestern Ohio will be here next Monday, October 19 at 9:00 am to speak with any junior or senior interested.  

  1.  The Blood Drive is tomorrow in the AUXILIARY GYM from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.  For anyone who donates, you will receive a free water bottle and sticker.

  1.  Last Week’s GUESS THE STAFF MEMBER was Mr. Adams.  Congratulations to Chase Noland for guessing first.  Can you GUESS THIS WEEK’S STAFF MEMBER?  This person’s favorite color is purple, they love lemonade and prefer to eat at the Olive Garden.  Their birthday is in July and they are one of the BIGGEST fans of THE Ohio State University.  If you know the right answer, tell Mrs. Norton.  The winner will deliver a surprise to the staff member.
