Graham Middle School hosted the school-wide Spelling Bee on January 29th. This year, 8th grader Myles Wilson came out on top of the 22 qualified participants. Finishing in 2nd place was 6th grader Ava Terrell.
In order to participate, students must pass a qualifying exam in their language arts classes, but then also muster up the courage to stand in front of the entire student body for the event.
Our champion, Myles Wilson, will now take a qualifying test in February to see if he qualifies for the Regional Spelling Bee to be hosted at Ohio University.
