Congratulations to our 8th grade Clark State Scholarship recipients. In order to be selected, students are to be potential first-generation college students, have a minimum GPA, and complete an application and interview process. These 6 GMS students were recognized at the induction ceremony in April at Clark State: Krista Barnhart, Liam Borders, Mariah Karnehm, Raynna Kermode', Elena Moffet, and Sophie Szeman. These students will have ongoing mentoring along with special trips and events as part of an immersive program to prepare them for their future. Upon completion of the program through high school they will be eligible for three years of free tuition and books at Clark State College.
