Graham Elementary Staff Spotlight - Mrs. Horn

Mrs. Setty's 5th grade science class tested out their foam rockets in the hallway of Graham Elementary in December. This was a NASA lesson and the rocket launch wrapped up their space unit.



As we wrap up our GES Staff Music BINGO we continue to have staff yell out BINGO down the hallways!
Congratulations Mrs. Regier, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Ruemping!


We had a 3rd winner in out MUSIC BINGO held in December! Congratulation to Mrs. Baker!

The GES Nature Club took a trip out to the woods to explore. They saw many very big fall leaves, climbed on broken trees and saw a deer rubbing! It was a beautiful afternoon in the woods!






4th Grade Spelling Bee
Our 4th grade held their grade level Spelling Bee in December. Congratulations to all of the participants.
A special congratulations to our 1st Place Spelling Bee Champion Liam Niday and Runner-Up Gabe Insley!
The 4th & 5th grade combined Spelling Bee will be held in January.



Our 5th grade held their grade level Spelling Bee. Congratulations to the 15 students who will be moving on to the GES 4th & 5th Grade Combined Spelling Bee.
An extra congratulations to Saige Wilson who won the 5th Grade Spelling Bee.
MUSIC BINGO is a hit at GES with both the students and the staff! Right before break we had another BINGO!
Congratulations Mrs. Bishop. Her class helped her pick out her prize!

After reading "The Gingerbread Boy", the students in K were given a design challenge to build a bridge that could help the gingerbread boy cross the river and avoid being eaten by the tricky fox!

Our GES Club Breakout Club! If you like the Escape Rooms this club is for you. These students had a blast in this activity!
After reading "The Gingerbread Boy", the students in K were given a design challenge to build a bridge that could help the gingerbread boy cross the river and avoid being eaten by the tricky fox!



These 5th grade students had a blast during their Snowman Fun Day!
The Trout Are Here!
Trout in the Classroom project commenced this December at Graham Elementary School. Brown trout eggs were delivered and are growing happily in our 55 gallon tanks! This year we will have the opportunity to care for the fish, maintain the quality of the water and learn many things about trout ecosystem and watersheds.
