Playing outside at recess allows for our children to have some relaxation time, exert some energy, and just enjoy themselves. It also allows them to recharge for learning once they get back inside to their classrooms.

Graham Elementary Student Spotlight Go Falcons! 🦅

There are lots of things to enjoy at school as a 2nd grader such as playground fun, combining Science and Math, and visits from special guests. It's never a dull moment in May!

Do you have anyone 11 years or older who may be interested in theater? Check out this Summer Theater Camp For Youth opportunity.

With the alphabet count down on our way, the preschool kids made Alien grass heads on A day, gave them haircuts on H day, played with the big Legos on L day, and had milkshakes on M day. We are having fun as we wrap up the school year.

At Graham Elementary, we have lots of opportunities to learn and discover new things both inside the building and on trips to other places! Mrs. Dickerson's students are all about experimenting with new things and looking for adventures.

Mrs. Fasse’s 2nd graders recently completed a project where they learned about geometry and fractions while making a quilt.

Whether it is conducting experiments with plants, observing bluegill fish, reading at centers, or working with our MS Fly Mentors, the 1st grade students are always hard at work learning!

Students in the after school FLIGHT program recently got to try their hand with navigating robots using technology.

Our preschool students recently participated in Grandparent's Day. They had spring activities, made a spring wreath, made dirt pudding and planted with Grandparents. They had so much fun spending time with our loved ones.

The Graham Falcon 5K run/walk will take place on Saturday, May 27th. There is also an elementary 1-mile fun run. Everyone who signs up by Friday, May 12th will guarantee an event t-shirt with registration. We also have medals for top 5 in each category. There are also registration forms in all GLS building offices and various businesses around town. We hope you can join us for this event to help fund student organizations and PBIS initiatives at GMS!
