Graham Middle School was approached by an Urbana Moose Riders member about an opportunity to support our families in need who would like to have a student attend the Washington DC trip. They are holding a raffle for multiple bicycles and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the DC scholarship fund. We are very grateful for their consideration! We have agreed to share this information and have access to tickets for anyone interested. Tickets will be cash only and you do not need to be present to win. If you want to view the bikes in person, we believe they are located at Whitman's Bike Shop here in St. Paris.
** The beginners package includes 5 sessions of BMX lessons for beginners

Power of the Pen is STATE BOUND!!!!
The Graham Middle School Power of the Pen creative writing team earned their spot to compete at the regional competition today at Wittenberg University, where the seventh grade team once again earned first place overall out of twenty-two schools. Seventh grader, Kendall Nichols, also scored first place overall as an individual, qualifying the team to attend the state competition again this year! We anticipate more students qualifying for state as final results are tallied in coming days.

A few photos from the grade 7 trip to the National Museum of the United States Air Force. A true historical and educational gem so close to home.

Rock-a-thon lucky raffle winners! Many amazing prizes, including $250 worth of savings for trips through sponsorship from our student council and an 8th grade student sponsor who raised money himself for others!!!

The dance party break is always a favorite at the GMS Rock-a-thon!!! I mean, who doesn't want to have a 45 min dance party at 10pm??? Let's be honest, we do it at 10pm so they lose some energy and we can all survive until midnight!!!

They all moan and groan at first about the "no tech hour" at Rock-a-thon. Then they end up having a blast playing the games we all grew up playing! Teens and adults need more time away from tech (my one PSA for the evening 😂).

The 2024 GMS Rock-a-thon is well underway! These students raised $9,434 in pledges for their future DC trips! They are rocking the night away from 6-midnight.

The GMS Rock-a-thon fundraising event will still take place tonight from 6pm-midnight. Reminder this was a preregister event so only those that registered are able to attend. Bring all money raised to check-in at 6:00pm. Money raised earn you raffle tickets for AMAZING prizes!

Please share with any known recycling patrons - Due to the current status of many community roads and our front East parking lot, the recycling center at Graham Middle School is closed today.
