Nothing like a close to midnight dance party to celebrate this group raising $10,205.26 for their future DC trips!!

Final round of prizes at rock-a-thon included a $25 playstation card, 2800 V-bucks card, an art kit, $30 certificate for the DC trip, another snack box, glow in the dark sports balls, and a 3D pen.

At rock-a-thon it's "no tech hour" or "family time" as we like to call it! Actual human to human interaction which is unfortunately becoming more and more rare with our students. Also gives them a chance to move a little. Breaking out the board and games!

GMS students are rockin' the night away from 6pm-midnight raising money through pledges for their future Washington DC trips! We even had several 8th graders who already took the trip raise money for others in need!

Our first set of Rock-a-thon prize winners! Prizes this round were a hair chalk set, $30 towards your DC trip account, a slamball set, a snack box, a $25 amazon card, and a drone!!!

👀 Reminder

DC Fundraiser Rock-a-thon is tonight from 6pm-midnight! We have 70 students attending who have already turned in over $7,000 in pledges, with 1/3 registered still needing to turn in today!!! Prizes are ready to go! Students earn tickets for raffles based on amount fundraised.
