Champaign County Science Fair is still on for tonight!
Information shared with all students scheduled to participate, but we figured we would share here as well.
We have a bus going to Urbana High School that will be leaving the middle school at 3:10, then we will pick up elementary students over there. If you can, please have parent/guardian drop you off at the middle school no later than 3:00. We will leave promptly at 3:10. Mrs. Woolever and Ms. Ellis will be at school by noon, so you can be dropped off anytime between noon and 3 (if parents need that opportunity) and enter through the office doors and come to Miss Ellis' room.
You can also be transported to Urbana High School by parent/guardian. You would need to arrive no later than 3:30 if you are being transported there. We will have your papers and project board there if you choose to be dropped off.
If you cannot make Science Fair today, please email Miss Ellis and Mrs. Woolever and we will make arrangements next week (they are allowing for flexibility in the judging process due to weather closure).
Good luck and congratulations for all the hard work that these students have put in as they prepare for the Champaign County Science Fair that will take place tonight. This is a qualifier to the Upper Miami Valley Science Fair to take place at Edison State. Adelyn Guidera, Alice Rogers, Colten Taylor, Piper Jacobs, Bella Black, Mackenzie Crooks, Samuel Bodey, Lily Parke, Alaina Lockwood, Hannah Smith, Lucy Rodgers, Juliana Williams, Mallorie Erter, Jenna Johnston, Carly Birchfield, Vander James, and Myles Wilson.

The PBIS assembly this month featured archery, the Howard to Smith football toss, and a basketball free throw competition. Students chosen to participate came from our positive referrals from the month. We are proud to share that the staff teams swept all the contests!

Today our 8th graders heard presentations from staff and students about opportunities at the high school as they consider scheduling options they will commit to soon. Thanks to our HS students and staff, Hi-Point staff, Edison State, and our own team for making this possible!

Thank you Mr. Milligan and Ms. Buell for coming to share with the entire 8th grade the importance of being involved in co-curriculars or extracurriculars. Students then had the chance to express interest in all the fall season opportunities.
