This year, students have the opportunity to use any leftover change to take a chance on Pull-A-Pop.
All proceeds from Pull-A-Pop will support the GES Library and help purchase new books for students. 📖🍭

Our Falcon family is full of incredible team members. We’re excited to start reintroducing some familiar faces!
This is my 26th year at Graham and my 34th year in education overall. I currently teach 3rd grade, focusing on writing, word study, and social studies. I began my time at Graham teaching 1st grade, which I did for 20 years, followed by three years in 4th grade. I have now been teaching 3rd grade for three years.
I feel so fortunate to have raised my daughter in this district. She attended preschool through 12th grade at Graham, graduated in 2025, and is currently attending the University of Findlay. Some of my favorite memories include watching her grow, participating in triathlons, playing soccer and basketball, and running track and cross country. I was honored to serve as a team mom and help wherever I could for her teams. Raising her here has been a true blessing, and the friendships I’ve gained along the way are unmatched. Many of my colleagues have become family.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, going to the beach, and exploring different countries and cultures on cruises. I also love reading, walking, and tending to my flower beds.
I entered education with a mindset of serving others and inspiring students to work hard and succeed while raising the bar. Helping students grow academically and personally, encouraging them to believe in themselves, is incredibly important to me. Graham is my home, and I am grateful to continue serving this community until my retirement in a few years.

I feel truly blessed not only to have had the opportunity to begin my career here at Graham, but also to be able to finish my career and retire at the end of this year after 33 years of service. It has been an incredible privilege to serve the students, staff, and community of a district that has meant so much to me personally and professionally. "Over the past 33 years, I have had the privilege of serving students at Graham Middle School as an Intervention Specialist. During the first 17 years of my career, I worked as a co-teacher in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, collaborating with general education teachers to support diverse learners in the classroom. For the past 16 years, I have served as the Multiple Disabilities teacher at the middle school, a role that has allowed me to focus on meeting the unique needs of students who require significant academic and functional supports.
Early in my career, I was also actively involved in extracurricular activities, coaching high school volleyball, track, and girls basketball. These experiences helped me build strong relationships with students and contribute to the broader school community.
Throughout my career, I have remained committed to leadership and collaboration within the district. I have been an active member of the Graham Education Association, serving as both Vice President and President. Currently, I serve as the Building Lead Special Education Teacher at the middle school. In addition, I have participated in several district committees, including the Rigor Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, and I have also had the privilege of mentoring new teachers over the years.
My experiences have given me a deep understanding of our students, staff, and community, as well as a strong commitment to supporting student success and strengthening Graham Local Schools." My most memorable moment at Graham was being named the 2022 Larry and Ida Snavley Teacher Excellence Award recipient. This award is especially meaningful because it requires nomination and voting by your fellow colleagues, reflecting recognition from those who know your work best. Receiving this honor was incredibly humbling and reinforced my commitment to serving the students, staff, and community of Graham Local Schools. Most people may not know that when I was a senior in high school, I originally planned to attend training to become a flight attendant rather than pursue teaching. It wasn’t until the early spring of my senior year that I made the decision to go to college to become a teacher instead. Looking back, that decision changed the course of my life, and I am grateful it led me to a career where I have been able to work with and support students for the past 33 years. "What has kept me motivated for so many years is the belief in the abilities of every student and the joy of helping them reach their full potential. I will never forget my first day as the Multiple Disabilities teacher—I felt like a fish out of water with no prior training—but I quickly realized that these students had strengths and talents that most would never imagine. My determination to find ways to connect with them and help them succeed has fueled my passion throughout my career.
I have remained a Falcon because that is truly who I am. I am proud to have attended Graham from kindergarten through 12th grade and then returned to serve this community as a teacher for my entire career. Being part of this district—first as a student and now as an educator—has been a constant source of motivation and pride, and it has helped to inspire me to give my best every day."
