Our GHS Music students had an incredible opportunity to meet, observe, and share their music with Dark Sky Percussion, a dynamic performing arts group from Riverside, California that combines music and movement in powerful ways. Dark Sky is in Ohio this week to compete at the WGI World Championships in Dayton, alongside many other talented ensembles. We’re so grateful our students had the chance to connect with such an inspiring group, and we wish Dark Sky the best of luck in their performances! @darkskypercussion

On Friday, we had the incredible opportunity to host photojournalist Kareem Elgazzar. With nearly 20 years in the field — including time at The Cincinnati Enquirer covering the Reds, Bengals, and even the 2020 Tokyo Olympics — Kareem brought his world-class expertise straight to our classroom. His hands-on guidance and stories from the front lines of sports photography were inspiring, and it was amazing to learn from someone who's done what we do, but at the absolute highest level. Huge thanks to Kareem for spending time with us and sharing your knowledge with our Yearbook team!
