GHS Science Teacher, Tyler Bruns, was selected for The National Science Foundation - Collaborative Research Experience for Teachers.
The opportunity is a collaborative, multi-university program that aims to empower teachers with knowledge of electronic materials, packaging, and semiconductors and to relay that knowledge to their students. This will be a six-week summer experience that includes hands-on research, tours of local companies and cleanrooms, developmental activities, experiential learning about state-of-the-art electronics technology, and earning certifications. The experience wraps up with the development of class materials to be used in their classroom!

Christmas in the Village is coming! 🎄

Students in Mr. Slone’s 7th grade science class get hands on with Ohm’s Law. Ohm's Law states that the voltage or potential difference between two points is directly proportional to the current or electricity passing through the resistance, and directly proportional to the resistance of the circuit. The higher the voltage, the more current flows. Students completed a lab where they constructed series and parallel circuits!
