Christmas in the Village is coming! 🎄
Students in Mr. Slone’s 7th grade science class get hands on with Ohm’s Law. Ohm's Law states that the voltage or potential difference between two points is directly proportional to the current or electricity passing through the resistance, and directly proportional to the resistance of the circuit. The higher the voltage, the more current flows. Students completed a lab where they constructed series and parallel circuits!

During the month of October, a Design Challenge is put in place to celebrate Manufacturing month. All schools in Champaign County compete with the same challenge. The winning team will go to the final round to compete against Urbana, West Liberty, Triad and Mechanicsburg.
The Challenge is designed by a committee of Engineers in September. All students follow the same rules, rubric and all have a chance to work with an engineer from the county. Graham's engineer is Zach Ferryman, from KTH.
Great work to these students and the support of Mr. Ferryman, Mrs. Cook and Mr. Curtner! 🦅
