We are excited to share some updates about this year’s Homecoming festivities!

Instead of the traditional parade, we will be hosting a Homecoming Powder Puff Game on Thursday, 10/2. Our goal is to make this a special community and alumni event that brings everyone together. 🦅

53rd Annual Band Festival today!!

🧑‍🔬Science lab days = real-life learning! Mr. Slone’s 7th graders explored conduction by measuring hot and cold water temperatures until they reached equilibrium and graphing their results. They used a crockpot of tea to see convection in action and observed osmosis as tea moved from a high concentration inside the bag to a lower concentration in the water. Hands-on science at its best! 🌡️📈

Today in Art 3 class at GHS, students took advantage of the sunny weather to work outside and observe how light and shadow fall on objects. They are creating self-portraits, initially shading everything in grayscale, and are now using the push-pull technique to enhance highlights and shadows in their drawings. 🎨

Today is National IT Professionals Day and we are grateful for our team! Did you know that Mrs. Miller and Mr. Yukon are both Graham High School graduates? Mrs. Miller, a 1997 graduate, has been with our district for more than 15 years, and Mr. Yukon, a 2020 graduate, is now in year four of his career. These two are like the cloud—always there when you need them!
