Also, The signed Ohio budget bill includes a provision for the state to cover the cost for reduced price breakfast and lunch. This means that students that qualify for reduced meals will now receive breakfast and lunch for free. We encourage all families to complete a free/reduced meal application for the 2023-2024 school year as eligibility requirements have also changed making this opportunity even more accessible.

Superintendent Lensman was instrumental in bringing a Business School Liaison to Champaign County schools. This week at the Business Advisory Council meeting, discussion was focused on exciting progress made this past year and an intentional look ahead regarding plans for future funding of the position.

Students in Ms. Brenning’s Medical Detectives class had to determine the location of a patient brain tumor based on case files containing symptoms and then a visual MRI. Once they showed correct knowledge and understanding, they dissected the sheep brain to locate the tumor.
