"Mrs. Huff's Chem 2 class is using a known concentration of a base to neutralize the unknown concentration of acid in an aspirin tablet. This process is called a titration. An indicator is used to determine when the neutralization has occurred. The indicator is colorless in the presence of an acid, but turns bright pink in the presence of a base. We know neutralization has occurred when the solution is a faint pink color. Further calculations with the concentration and volumes used can determine the unknown concentration of acid in the aspirin tablet."

The Ohio Department of Education invites you to respond to a short, 25 question survey about your child's education. The survey will take about 10 minutes to finish and can be completed using your mobile phone or a computer. You are eligible to participate if your child has an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and receives Special Education services. The purpose of collecting this information is to improve services for students with disabilities. If you are eligible and you complete the survey, you have the option of entering a drawing for a $50 electronic gift card.
To be eligible to participate in the Special Education Family Survey, you must meet three criteria. First, you must be the parent or guardian of a child who has an IEP and receives Special Education services. Second, your child must attend a school in an Ohio school district or local community school selected for this study. Third, your child must be between the ages of 3 and 22 years. Please answer the following questions to see if you can participate in the Special Education Family Survey. If you have more than one child receiving Special Education services, please answer these questions for the child who is the oldest.

Today Mr. Curtner's work shop class had a guest speaker! 2011 Graham/OHP graduate Samuel Alexander shared his success! Sam has owned and operated Alexander Fabricating and Welding for 3 years now.
Sam struggled in high school with dyslexia and shared with the students about his struggles as a student. But also about his success! Sam stated he was so happy to see students back in work shop class, learning trades with their hands! He also stated that shop class was what he most looked forward to in school, it was a chance to get to learn something outside of the textbook!
We're so excited to have success stories of past students and share the positive impact a single class can make on one person!
Great job Sam! Go Falcons!! 🦅
