SPG statisticians and supporters decorated downtown Saint Paris Library tonight in support of our Falcon wrestlers that will be competing in the State Tournament this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Schottenstein Center! Super Proud of the wrestlers and the SPG Faithfuls!
Today Mr. Curtner's work shop class had a guest speaker! 2011 Graham/OHP graduate Samuel Alexander shared his success! Sam has owned and operated Alexander Fabricating and Welding for 3 years now.
Sam struggled in high school with dyslexia and shared with the students about his struggles as a student. But also about his success! Sam stated he was so happy to see students back in work shop class, learning trades with their hands! He also stated that shop class was what he most looked forward to in school, it was a chance to get to learn something outside of the textbook!
We're so excited to have success stories of past students and share the positive impact a single class can make on one person!

GMS qualified at least two to state at the Power of the Pen Regional Competition today held at Wittenberg. Bella Bever was 3rd overall for grade 7 & Bekah Wagner took 10th overall in grade 8! More may qualify but we won't know for at least another week.

This month is music in schools month. 🎶 Today at pancake day high school, middle school and elementary school students all performed together! Great work falcons 🦅
Grade 6 students have started their cross-curricular "Chasing Coral" STEAM unit. Over the next week they make connections to Science, ELA, Art, Math, Engineering, Careers, Historical Concerns, and Technology.
Yesterday grade 8 science completed a natural selection chicken beak simulation. This lesson came from a free Grow Next Gen professional development Mrs. Obaugh attended this summer.

Kailey Dowty earned 1st Team All Ohio and Gracie Mae earned All Ohio Honorable Mention at today’s OHSAA State Bowling Tournament. Great work Girl’s! The team is bowling for Top 8 this afternoon.
