Graham Elementary Student Spotlights

As the first week of March Madness wraps up, basketball skills were the focus in PE classes. The kids rotated to stations that involved dribbling, shooting, passing and even some competitive games. Mr. Jacobs reviewed things to be mindful about such as good dribbling technique.





Reminder, no school tomorrow!


Many kids celebrated St. Patrick's Day today since we are off school on Friday. Green attire was plentiful, and some even enjoyed green leprechaun pudding!




March Madness means it is time to practice our skills in P.E. claases this week! Let's get out the basketballs and start hooping.



Graham Elementary staff has put their heart into March Madness this week. Staff members were able to purchase mini basketballs with a random college team inside to follow all the way through the tournament. This event filled up 4 brackets and brought in $245 which will go to the “ BackPack” food program for our kids.









Our children at Graham Elementary know how to pick one another up with posters of inspiring words! Our Leader In Me traits are also highlighted as a reminder that they live in all of us.




Congratulations to Graham Elementary Student Brandon Lockery who received a Superior Rating at the Upper Miami Valley District Science Day at Edison and has qualified for the state competition. Brandon also received the 2nd place award for the Emerson Award for Chemistry with his project - Growing Sugar Crystals.

Congratulations to Graham Elementary Students Jenna Johnston and Carly Birchfield who competed in the Upper Miami Valley District Science Day at Edison after qualifying at the Champaign County Science Fair with their project Fire With A Complex.


Students in the after school Flight program use their creative minds to construct things out of a simple pipe cleaner. Look at all the things you can make when you think outside of the box!







The Falconland Market is open tomorrow, Sunday March 12th from 1-3pm.
Don’t forget to Spring Ahead an hour over night for DAYLIGHT savings time or you may miss us!
At the market this week, we have ground beef, hot dogs, eggs, orange juice and flavored milk, baby carrots, assorted chips and cereals, COVID test kits, and more!

There are lots of important things to learn in Mrs. Dickerson’s room such as telling time, reading, working with numbers, and using technology.





Basketball March Madness is in the air and our GES students are working on their ball handling skills in their pysical education classes.
