WE LOVE OUR KIDS! We want to share our love with parents and community members, so make sure you follow Graham Elementary School on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Our district website also highlights our kids daily!

Doughnuts were served to kids in Mrs. Davis’s homeroom as they had the highest participation in the Kids Heart Challenge sponsored by Mr. Blosser & Mr. Jacobs. The school as a whole raised over $4,000 for the American Heart Association!

March Madness is coming soon, and our 1st graders are getting excited about their March Madness Book Tournament bracket! Which of these books will be the ultimate champion in the final round?

Nothing better than getting outside on our playgrounds to enjoy the recent unseasonably warm weather! The joy of play is a beautiful thing to see in our children.

Our Kindergarten students enjoy time in the classroom making new friends, reading through their self-created books, and constructing new things.

Today is National Flapjack Day so GES Administrators Lynnette Roeth and Emily Shreve served up a tasty treat of pancakes and sausage to the GES Team to thank them for all they do each and everyday for our students and for GES!

A visit to the library each week is always a treat for kids. These first graders have chosen a wide variety of books, and they are looking forward to reading them either at school or at home with their parents.

Graham Elementary Physical Education students have been challenged by Mr. Jacobs and Mr. Blosser to jump rope for 1 minute without stopping or missing. The students who reach this goal get to sign the Jump Rope 1 Minute Club. Keep working hard Falcons!

Students in grade 2 learned about the famous dog race, The Iditarod, and then wrote about the things they found important. The wonderful drawings of the sled dogs really enhance their work!

Telling time is an important skill that is being mastered by our hard working 2nd graders. Number Corner is part of our Math day which involves discussing and investigating concepts in Math. Reading an analog clock is still important even though most are now digital.

Our preschool learners are always busy learning new things, which includes how wonderful books can be. Here they listen to a story and discuss the contents.

An impromptu activity and reminder about being mindful of our words and actions can have the most impact. Here a 2nd grade group talks about being kind. Being a leader can mean using kind words as a model.

**Announcement**

Our number one priority is keeping your students safe.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Our preschoolers recently made Kindness Rocks with positive thoughts to spread around our school grounds. They are spreading kindness to others with the hope it makes others happy to find them!
