Happy Mole Day! Mole Day is celebrated annually on October 23rd from 6:02am to 6:02 pm. Mole day commemorates Avogadro's Number, THE MOLE (abbreviated mol), a basic measuring unit in Chemistry. Just like a dozen equals 12 items, 1 mole equals 6.02x10^23 particles (which could be atoms, ions, molecules, etc.)!
Mrs. Huff's Honors Chemistry II class celebrated Mole Day by making Moledae Ice Cream, while calculating the number of moles within each measured ingredient. Students also brought in Mole Day treats like a 6.02 layer cake, Le-MOL-ade, and Buffa-mol Chicken Dip. We even had Captain Jack Sparramole and the Mole Bride & Groom in attendance (sewn by senior chemistry students).

We are reaching out to invite you to become a valued part of the Graham Local Schools team as a substitute! Our substitutes are crucial in ensuring our students continue to thrive, and we need your support. Whether you're interested in teaching, custodial work, assisting in the classroom, working in the office, cafeteria, or as a bus driver, we have a place for you!
Here are the current pay rates for substitutes:
Teacher: $130 per day
Custodian: $17.70 per hour
Aide: $16.50 per hour
Secretary: $16.70 per hour
Cafeteria: $14.75 per hour
Bus Driver: $19.35 per hour (Contact Mr. Burley if interested! 937-663-4123 Ext. 2608)

Create an OHID Account: Start by visiting OHID (https://ohid.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/ohid/login/) and setting up your account.
Submit a Background Check: A background check is required for all positions. You can schedule an appointment with the District Support Center (937-663-4123).
Apply for a License: After logging into OHID, select the "Educator Licensure and Records (CORE)" application and apply for your substitute teaching or support staff license.
